So, this is when they lit up the Christmas Tree here in Los Angeles, in a mall called The Grove. There were so many people, that they had to "close the doors" of the mall and not let anybody else in. This is something a I had never seen before in my life... (?)

Aca en Estados Unidos la prendida del Arbol de Navidad es todo un suceso, asi que nos fuimos a verlo. Esto fue en un centro comercial que se llama The Grove. Habia tanta gente que es toco practicamente cerrar el centro comercial y no dejar a nadia mas entrar. Increible, nunca habia visto que cerraran un centro comercial por que estaba demasiado lleno... (?)

Oh, yeah. Two hours is waaaaaayyyy to long to wait for someone to flip a light switch! They do something similar at Rockefeller center here in New York. The tree is really big and pretty but I never understand why people stand around for hours to see it get lit when they cam come back the NEXT day already lit with less crowds!
